The origin of the word HEAL is "to restore to sound health" or "to make whole". Can you imagine that? To make whole? The question of wholeness and of health (read, HEALth) keeps expanding and inspiring me as a health professional and as a common person wanting to live an authentic life. One thing I've discovered to be true is that we do not become whole by focusing on parts and we do not restore sound health by focusing on illness. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is an effective and wise bridge to health because the basic focus is with the flow of life juice in the body in real time. Another thing that's true is that our bodies are far wiser than our thoughts can ever be, so it is necessary to think lightly and always be developing awareness of the body, as it is in the moment and as it knows how to be in wholeness.
The Biodynamic orientation is wise and respectful of each person's autonomous expressions and unique pathways to healing and resolution. I practice this approach in craniosacral therapy sessions and in yoga sessions.
I look forward to the chance to work with you. Please contact me with any questions and feel free to schedule right away. Thanks!
"For as long as I remember, I have inhabited the rigid, frightened “dead” body of a severely traumatized woman. Through my work with Ginger, I have learned that my body is so much more than the contractions it holds in response to what happened to me. She has helped me experience it as strong and responsive and fluid and alive.
What most draws me to Ginger, and what is most relaxing and safe about her, is that we don’t have “healing sessions,” where she’s the healer with all the knowledge and well-being to bestow and I’m the person to be healed. We have genuine, heartfelt, human-to-human conversations, both the spoken ones and the silent ones. She listens to me, is genuinely curious about my experience and her own, and asks and answers questions that help me find a deeper knowing. She respects what’s hard for me, but she doesn’t turn away from it. Instead, it becomes a starting point, an opportunity for us to become curious about where there are openings for exploration and release of old holding patterns and wounds.
Ginger knows a lot about the body/mind and she is strong and gifted healthcare practitioner. But it is her ability to bring all of her knowing and experience to a session that makes this kind of deep opening possible for me. I love her, and I trust her. I think you will too." Emma
"Ginger is one of the best massage therapists I have ever been to, and I have had a LOT of massage! She is extremely powerful yet gentle. I relax the moment she touches me and she has helped me through some very difficult times. I highly recommend her as a massage therapist." Barbara
"You will not find a better massage therapist in the area. I have used her services for a couple of years and have sent friends and family to her as well. A true professional with excellent training and a desire to help." Norm
