The word heal means "to restore to sound health" or "to make whole". To make whole. Can you imagine? All areas of the body-mind are simply aspects of one unified system.
I take a biodynamic approach, which means I listen for the true priority in the body in the moment and I give that my support. A session can navigate itself through the subsystems of the body and I find it so beautiful to follow my clients' innate healing wisdom. There is an ease and a natural faith that grows through the process. As many massage therapist do, I spent a lot of years offering a menu-style service: Massage Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Massage, TMJ Release, Thai Massage, etc, Little by little I have let go of that style and discover this more dynamic, relevant and satisfying way to be with my clients.
We're inherently well and capable of living authentic, vibrant lives in good company with each other. It's a matter of orienting to and discovering what health and wellness really are about.
Deepak Chopra describes the body as a process - an ever moving and changing entity. When we can truly experience that process, in the moment, in our bodies, we discover the ease of life we're all seeking, and we can allow the spirit to shine through.
"For as long as I remember, I have inhabited the rigid, frightened “dead” body of a severely traumatized woman. Through my work with Ginger, I have learned that my body is so much more than the contractions it holds in response to what happened to me. She has helped me experience it as strong and responsive and fluid and alive.
What most draws me to Ginger, and what is most relaxing and safe about her, is that we don’t have “healing sessions,” where she’s the healer with all the knowledge and well-being to bestow and I’m the person to be healed. We have genuine, heartfelt, human-to-human conversations, both the spoken ones and the silent ones. She listens to me, is genuinely curious about my experience and her own, and asks and answers questions that help me find a deeper knowing. She respects what’s hard for me, but she doesn’t turn away from it. Instead, it becomes a starting point, an opportunity for us to become curious about where there are openings for exploration and release of old holding patterns and wounds.
Ginger knows a lot about the body/mind and she is strong and gifted healthcare practitioner. But it is her ability to bring all of her knowing and experience to a session that makes this kind of deep opening possible for me. I love her, and I trust her. I think you will too." Emma
"Ginger is one of the best massage therapists I have ever been to, and I have had a LOT of massage! She is extremely powerful yet gentle. I relax the moment she touches me and she has helped me through some very difficult times. I highly recommend her as a massage therapist." Barbara
"You will not find a better massage therapist in the area. I have used her services for a couple of years and have sent friends and family to her as well. A true professional with excellent training and a desire to help." Norm
